BoPET

BOPET is a kind of plastic that is made into a thin sheet. Have you ever seen the plastic wrap that goes around food to keep it fresh? BOPET is kind of like that, but stronger and thicker.

To make BOPET, people start by mixing up special chemicals that can turn into plastic. They heat up these chemicals until they turn into a liquid, and then they pour the liquid onto a big flat surface. This surface is usually a conveyor belt that moves really slowly.

As the liquid cools down, it turns into a solid sheet of plastic. This sheet is really thin - about as thick as a few hairs on your head! But even though it's so thin, it's really strong and stretchy. That's why people like to use BOPET to make things like packaging material, labels, and even some kinds of clothing.

BOPET is also really good at blocking out things like moisture and air. That means it can help keep things fresh for a long time. So if you have your favorite snack food in a bag that's made of BOPET, you don't have to worry about it getting stale or moldy.
