Bodyguard

A bodyguard is someone hired to protect another person from harm or bad people. They usually accompany the person they're protecting and keep an eye out for anything dangerous. They might also check for possible threats before the person arrives at a place. They are also trained in self-defense, so they can fight off anyone who might cause harm or danger to the person they are protecting.
