Bond fund

A bond fund is a type of investment that pools together money from lots of different people and invests it in lots of different bonds. Bonds are like IOUs from companies or governments. They promise to pay the investor a set amount of money every year and to pay back the full amount at the end of the bond's life. Bond funds are a way for people to invest in bonds without having to buy and sell them individually.
