Book theft from libraries

Have you ever borrowed a book from the library? Well, some people don't like to borrow books, they like to take them without permission. That's called theft.

Stealing a book from the library means taking a book that isn't yours without permission. This is the same as stealing candy from the store without paying for it. But why do people steal books from the library? Sometimes they really want to read a book but don't want to pay for it or they don't want to wait for it to be available.

But taking a book from the library is not fair, because other people might want to read it too. By stealing the book, the thief is not being fair to other people who want to use it too. That is why stealing a book from the library is wrong.

If someone steals a book and is caught, they might have to pay fines or go to court. The library might even ban them from using the library again.

So next time you want to read a book, make sure you borrow it from the library properly. Remember, it's not nice to take something that isn't yours.
