ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Borell–TIS inequality

Borell-Tis Inequality is a fancy way of saying that if you have a lot of little things, it's really unlikely that they're all going to be the same. Imagine you have a bunch of different colored marbles in a jar. There are so many marbles that it's almost impossible for them all to be the same color.

This idea is important in math because it helps us understand how things vary and change. It tells us that we can't expect everything to be the same or even close to the same. We need to be prepared for diversity and differences between things. Just like the marbles, there's a lot of variation in the world and we need to be ready for it!
