Botany

Botany is the study of plants. Plants are the green things we see everywhere in nature, like trees, flowers, grass, and weeds! Scientists that study plants are called botanists. Botanists study the parts of plants and how they grow and reproduce. They also study the ways in which plants interact with the environment and other living things. Botany helps us to understand how plants help us, like providing us with food, air, and beauty.
