Bounded growth

Bounded growth means that something can grow or develop, but only up to a certain limit. For example, if a plant can only grow up to 30cm tall, then its growth is 'bounded' to that particular size. In other words, it can only grow up to a certain point, and no bigger. This is different from 'unbounded growth', which means something can grow or develop with no limit.
