Bourekas

Bourekas are a yummy snack made with layers of dough and filling! Imagine a little blanket of dough that is filled with something yummy, like cheese or spinach, and then baked in the oven until it’s golden and crispy.

The dough used in bourekas is made from flour, water, and oil or butter. The filling can be all sorts of things, like cheese, spinach, or even meat.

To make bourekas, you start by rolling out the dough and then cutting it into circles or squares. Next, you put a spoonful of filling in the middle of each piece of dough, and then you fold the dough over to create a little pocket that seals in the filling.

Once you have all your bourekas made, you bake them in the oven until they’re nice and crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. When you bite into a bourekas, you get a crispy, flaky dough exterior, and then a burst of delicious filling!

Bourekas are a popular snack in many countries, including Israel, Turkey, and Greece. They are often eaten as a snack or a light meal, and they’re perfect for taking on-the-go!
