Boxer Rebellion

Have you ever wanted something really badly? Well, a long, long time ago, some people in China wanted something really badly too. But the leaders of other countries kept taking it away from them!

The people in China were very upset about this and they wanted to fight back. They formed a group called the Boxers. The Boxers were called that because they practiced boxing and believed they were invincible.

The Boxers thought they had special powers that made them immune to bullets and other weapons. They believed they could conquer anyone who tried to stop them. So they started attacking foreigners who were in China, and they destroyed anything that wasn't Chinese.

Many people from other countries were angry and wanted to protect their people in China. They joined together and made a group called the Eight-Nation Alliance. They decided to fight against the Boxers and stop them from hurting more people.

The Eight-Nation Alliance was very strong and had many weapons. The Boxers could not stand up against them. Eventually, the Eight-Nation Alliance defeated the Boxers and restored peace in China.
