The special theory of relativity is a theory proposed by Albert Einstein to explain how time and space work. In this theory, Einstein said that time and space are connected. This means that time passes faster or slower depending on how fast you are moving and that the distance between two points can change when you look at them from different speeds. For example, if you travel in a car that is moving very fast, the time it takes to get from point A to point B can become shorter than if you were to walk or take a slower car. Einstein said this was because of how the different speeds changed the distances between the two points. So while one person may be older than another person in one place, they may actually be younger in another place if they are travelling at a different speed.
