Boxlock action

A boxlock action is a part of a gun that helps it shoot. It's like the part of a flashlight that helps turn it on and off.

When you look at a gun, you'll see two pieces that stick out on either side. These pieces are called hammers. When you pull the trigger, it makes the hammers hit a spring, which moves a metal piece called the sear.

When the sear moves, it lets a spring inside the boxlock action open up. When the spring opens up, it lets a shell (which has gunpowder in it) explode. This explosion pushes the bullet out of the gun really fast, and that's how the gun fires.

So, the boxlock action is a really important part of the gun because it helps make the gun shoot. It helps make sure that the bullet comes out of the gun really fast when you pull the trigger.
