Bracket clock

A bracket clock is like a special clock that sits on a little shelf (like a bracket) on the wall. It has a big round face with numbers and two hands that move around to show the time.

The clock works by having a little machine inside that helps it tick, and it needs to be wound up every so often to make sure it keeps ticking properly.

Some bracket clocks are really fancy and have extra decorations on them, like gold or silver or cool designs. People used to have bracket clocks in their houses a long time ago to help them keep track of time before we had modern clocks like we do now.
