Brahmapura is a term from Hindu mythology. It means a holy city or great home of Brahma, the creator god in Hinduism. Brahma is said to have created the entire universe, including all the gods, people, animals and plants. People believe that visiting Brahma's home brings a special blessing and protection from harm. In Hindu temples, priests chant special mantras for the purpose of gaining Brahma's grace and blessings.
