Brain atlas

A brain atlas is like a map of your brain. Just like a map helps you find your way in a place you haven't been before, the brain atlas helps scientists understand the different parts of the brain and what they do.

Imagine your brain is a big house with lots of rooms. Each room has a different name and is used for different things. For example, one room is the kitchen where you cook and eat, another is the bedroom where you sleep and rest, and another is the living room where you play and watch TV. The brain atlas shows us all these rooms in the brain and what jobs they have.

Scientists use the brain atlas to study different brain diseases and disorders, such as dementia or Alzheimer's, to see if certain rooms in the brain are affected. It helps them understand how the brain works and how it's different from person to person.

Overall, the brain atlas is like a guidebook for your brain, giving scientists important information to help them unlock some of the mysteries of the human mind.
