Neuroanatomy

Neuroanatomy is the study of the structure of the nervous system. The nervous system is made up of billions of cells called neurons. Neurons send messages back and forth from the brain to the rest of the body. Neuroanatomy looks at how all of these neurons are connected and how they work together. It also helps us understand diseases or injuries that involve the nervous system.
