Medical image computing

Medical image computing is a way for doctors to look inside your body to see what's going on inside there. Sometimes, when a doctor wants to see what's happening inside your body, they might use special machines like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) scanners, which take pictures of your insides. These machines produce lots of images, like a thousand or more, and all of them are in black and white or gray colors.
