Breathy voice

Breathy voice is when someone talks softly and their voice sounds like they are blowing air out while they talk. It's like when you blow out candles, but you keep talking at the same time. This usually happens when the vocal cords don't fully come together when someone talks, which lets some air escape. Think of it like when you try to blow up a balloon, but you don't pinch the end, so the air just comes out in a slow, quiet stream. Sometimes people use breathy voice on purpose because it sounds gentle, but other times it's just how their voice naturally sounds.
