Browser wars happen when two or more companies compete to make the best web browser. A web browser is an app that you use to look at webpages on the internet. Companies try to make the best browser by adding new features, making it run faster, and making it more secure. They want you to use their browser instead of the other companies' browsers. The more popular a browser is, the more money the company makes. Companies like Google, Apple, and Microsoft all have their own web browsers and they keep trying to get more people to use theirs instead of the competition's browser.
