The web browser is a type of computer software that makes it possible to visit websites. Basically, it helps us to access the World Wide Web, which is a lot of information, pictures, videos and other things that are all connected together.
The history of web browsers is a bit like building a house. At first, there was a very small house with just one room, and that was called the first web browser. It was created in the early 1990s by Tim Berners-Lee and was called WorldWideWeb. Using this browser, people could visit websites, send emails and look at pictures.
Later, other people wanted to make their own web browsers, so they added more rooms to the house. They added things like tabs, better search capabilities, and support for different kinds of file types. Eventually, different web browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer became popular.
Nowadays, web browsers are very powerful, allowing us to do a lot more than just visit websites. We can watch videos, play games, shop online and even use special applications like Google Docs or Facebook.
