Okay kiddo, have you ever played with clay and made shapes out of it? Buckeye Steel Castings is like someone making really big shapes out of melted metal instead of clay.
But how do they make those shapes? Well, Buckeye Steel Castings has big machines called foundries. In these foundries, they melt different types of metal until it turns into a liquid. Then they pour the liquid metal into molds. Molds are like special "cookie cutters" that create different shapes.
Once they pour the melted metal into the mold, they let it cool down and harden. When it's ready, they take the mold apart and what's left is the big, heavy metal shape they wanted.
These metal shapes can be used for all kinds of things like building bridges or making train parts. It's pretty cool, huh?
