Burji dynasty

The Burji Dynasty is like a big group of people who lived in a fancy palace called the Burj in Cairo, Egypt a long time ago. They were like a family who took turns being in charge of the palace and the country. They were very powerful and had lots of money and lots of soldiers to protect them.

The Burji Dynasty started when a man named Barquq became king in 1382. He took over the palace and made it his home. After he died, his son and then his grandson became kings too. They all took care of the palace and the people who lived around it.

The Burji Dynasty was a very important time for Egypt because it was a time of peace and prosperity. The kings made sure that the people were taken care of and that there was enough food to go around. They built lots of big buildings and made Cairo a very beautiful city.

Eventually, after almost 200 years, the Burji Dynasty ended when a group of people called the Ottomans took over Egypt. But their legacy still remains and they are remembered as one of the greatest dynasties in Egyptian history.
