Business cycle

A business cycle is like a roller coaster. When the economy is doing well, it's like being at the top of the coaster, with economic growth and higher employment. But then the economy can slow down, like going down the hill of the roller coaster, and that's when there's less economic growth and higher unemployment. The business cycle keeps going up and down, and it usually takes a few years for it to go from the top of the coaster to the bottom and back up again.
