Business decision mapping

Okay, kiddo! So, do you know how when people are in charge of a business they have to make a lot of decisions? Sometimes these decisions are easy, like what kind of candy to keep in the breakroom, but other times they are really hard, like what product to make next or how to handle a tricky problem.

Business decision mapping is a tool that those people can use to help them make those tough decisions. It's like making a big map that helps them see all the different options they have and how each option will affect the business.

When making a decision map, they usually start by listing out all the different options they have. Then, they think about what might happen if they choose each option. They might ask themselves questions like, "How much money will it cost us to do this?" or "Will our customers like this option or not?"

They take all those answers and put them on the map, so they can see everything all in one place. That way, they can see which option seems like the best one.

So, just like when you make a map with your toy cars or dolls, they're making a map with all the different choices they have for their business. And just like how you can use your map to figure out where to drive your cars or where to have your dolls play, they can use their map to figure out what decision to make for their business.
