ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Business process orientation

Business process orientation means that a business is focused on how to get their work done in the most efficient and effective way. That means that they look at all the steps involved in tasks they need to do and try to make sure they are done as quickly and as reliably as possible. For example, if a business needs to send out invoices to customers, they might look at how to automate the process so that it is easier for them to do each step. This might involve investing in software or machines to help them do the job better and faster.
