Business requirements

Hey there, kiddo! Let's talk about business requirements.

Imagine you want to build a tower with Lego blocks. Before you start building, you need to know what the tower should look like and how big it should be. In the same way, a business needs to know what they want to achieve and how they want to achieve it before they start building or creating something. And this is where business requirements come in.

Business requirements are like the instruction manual that tells you what you need to do to build something or achieve something. They describe what a business needs to do, how they need to do it, and how they can make it happen.

For example, imagine you work at a pizza place. The business requirement could be to create a new menu item that's unique but still fits with their brand. This means that you need to come up with an idea for a new pizza that's different from what they already serve, but it still needs to taste good and be something the customers will like.

Or, another requirement could be to increase the number of customers that visit the pizza place. This means that the business needs to come up with ways to make the pizza place more appealing to customers, such as by offering discounts or promotions, improving the decor or atmosphere in the restaurant, or by creating a marketing campaign to attract more customers.

So, business requirements are like a map that helps businesses achieve their goals. By knowing what they need to do and how to do it, they can build and grow their business to be successful.
