ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

CDK13

CDK13 is like a tiny machine in our body that helps our cells grow and divide. Just like you need different tools to build different things, our cells use different CDK machines to build and divide in different ways. CDK13 is one of those machines that helps our cells divide in a special way called elongation, which means making things longer. It's a really important job because our body needs to make lots of new things all the time, like new skin cells and new blood cells. Scientists study CDK13 to learn more about how our body works and how we can use this knowledge to help people with diseases.
