COBIT

COBIT stands for Control Objectives for Information and related Technology. It's a framework of best practices created by the IT Governance Institute and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). COBIT helps companies to better manage the use of technology. It sets out specific goals, or objectives, that IT managers should work towards when it comes to things like how to use technology, how to protect against cyber-attacks, or how to ensure that data is secure. COBIT also provides guidance on how companies can measure their progress in achieving these goals. In other words, COBIT gives companies a way to make sure they are using technology responsibly, securely, and efficiently.
