computer clock cycles

Computer clock cycles are like the 'ticks' of a clock. Every time the clock 'ticks', a computer stores and processes a piece of information. Computers can do lots of things at the same time because they have lots of clock cycles per second. It's like there are lots of clocks ticking away in your computer, helping it do different things all at the same time.
