CODASYL

Codasyl, also known as CODASYL, is a language used by computers to help them store, organize, and access data. Computers use "languages" to figure out what information to store, where to store it, and how to use it. Codasyl is a way of instructing a computer on how to do these things. With Codasyl, you give the computer a set of instructions that tells it how to store, organize, and access the data it needs. This helps the computer do its job more efficiently.
