CORONA (SSTO)

Corona (SSTO) stands for Single Stage To Orbit. It refers to a spacecraft that is able to take off from the ground, fly all the way to outer space, and reach orbit without needing any extra rockets or other boosters. To do this, the vehicle needs to be very powerful and efficient. It's kind of like getting a rocket up to space with just one big jump. To get enough power to make this big leap, the spacecraft has to be built with special materials, engines, and other parts that are all designed to work together to make a successful one-step trip to orbit.
