Cadmus et Hermione

Once upon a time, there was a very long time ago, there was a really cool story from ancient Greece called "Cadmus et Hermione". It's about two people named Cadmus and Hermione who fell in love and had a huge adventure together.

So, let's start with Cadmus. He was a brave and strong warrior who was traveling with his friends. One day, they were looking for a missing cow and came across a sacred spring. They were thirsty, so they drank from the spring, not knowing it belonged to a powerful dragon named Ares.

The dragon got super angry and attacked Cadmus's friends. Cadmus was not one to back down from a fight, so he went after the dragon to save his friends. In the end, Cadmus killed the dragon, but his friends were all dead. Cadmus felt very guilty and wanted to do something to make up for what happened.

That's when the goddess Athena appeared to Cadmus and told him to take the dragon's teeth and plant them in the ground. Cadmus did as Athena said, and from the teeth sprang up a group of fierce warriors called the Spartoi, who became loyal to Cadmus.

Now let's talk about Hermione. She was a beautiful princess who was being held captive by a monster called the Sphinx. The Sphinx liked to ask riddles and if people couldn't answer them, she would eat them. Hermione was really afraid, so she promised to marry anyone who could defeat the Sphinx.

Cadmus heard about Hermione's promise and went to face the Sphinx. The Sphinx asked Cadmus a really hard riddle, but because of his quick thinking and intelligence, he was able to solve it. The Sphinx was defeated and Cadmus won Hermione's hand in marriage.

Cadmus and Hermione lived happily for a long time and had many adventures together. They traveled to many places, fought many battles, and helped many people. They were truly a pair of heroes, loved and respected by all who knew them.

So that's the story of Cadmus and Hermione. It's a story about bravery, intelligence, and love, and it reminds us that even in the most difficult situations, there is always hope.
