Caffè crema

Imagine you wake up early in the morning and you want to have a really nice cup of coffee. You go to your kitchen and put on a pot of water to boil. Once it's boiled, you take some ground coffee beans and put them in a special container called a portafilter. Then you attach the portafilter to a machine called an espresso machine.

With the espresso machine, hot water is forced through the ground coffee beans under high pressure, which extracts all the good flavors and gives you a concentrated shot of coffee called an espresso.

Now, sometimes people want a little less intense coffee flavor, maybe something a bit more mellow but still rich and smooth. That's where caffè crema comes in!

Caffè crema is basically a larger and lighter version of espresso. To make it, the espresso machine still uses high pressure, but the water is allowed to flow through the coffee grinds for longer. This makes the crema lighter in color and more abundant compared to espresso.

So if you want a coffee that's not as strong as espresso but still has a delicious, full-bodied flavor and a nice crema on top, caffè crema is a great option to try!
