ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Calculator input methods

When you use a calculator, you need to tell it what numbers you want it to use to do a calculation. There are a few different ways you can do this:

1. Buttons: You can press the buttons on the calculator that have the numbers and symbols you want to use. For example, if you want to add 2 and 3, you would press the buttons that look like '2', '+', and '3'.

2. Keypad: Some calculators have a keypad that you can use to type in the numbers and symbols you want to use. This is like a small keyboard, and you press the buttons on it to enter the numbers and symbols.

3. Touchscreen: Some calculators have a touchscreen that you can use to select the numbers and symbols you want to use. This is like a phone or tablet screen, and you can tap on the numbers and symbols you want to enter.

Once you've entered the numbers and symbols you want to use, the calculator will perform the calculation and give you the answer.
