Canada 2011 Census

Okay kiddo, so the Canada 2011 census was a big survey the government did to count how many people were living in Canada and where they were living.

It asked questions like how old people were, what languages they spoke, and how they got to work.

This is important because it helps the government make decisions about things like where to build schools or hospitals, and how much money to give different cities and provinces.

So, just like when you count how many toys you have, the census helps Canada keep track of how many people live here and what they need.
