ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Canadian Agricultural Safety Association

The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) is a group of grown-ups who care about making sure that farmers (people who grow food on farms) are safe while they work. They want to help farmers avoid getting hurt while they do their important job of providing us with food to eat.

CASA teaches farmers about things like how to use tools properly, how to be careful when handling big animals, and how to protect themselves from things like chemicals and pesticides. They also teach farmers about the importance of taking breaks and not working too hard so they don't get tired and make mistakes.

CASA also talks to other people in the community about farm safety, like kids and grown-ups who visit farms or drive near them. They want to make sure that everyone is aware of the potential dangers and how to stay safe.

In short, the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association is a group that wants to help farmers work safely and make sure that everyone in the community is aware of the importance of farm safety.
