Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is an organization that teaches people about how to stay safe at work. They help employers make their workplaces safer, and teach workers how to avoid injuries and illnesses while they are working. They also provide information to help people make workplaces healthier and happier. CCOHS provides training, advice and research on how to reduce the risks of exposure to hazards at work, and on how to promote safe working conditions that meet current legislation. They help people understand and eliminate workplace hazards like chemicals, loud noises, and dangerous machinery. They also help people understand their rights at work and teach workplace safety rules.
