Canapé

Okay, imagine you are having a fancy party with your grown-up friends and they serve you tiny little pieces of bread with yummy toppings on them. That's called a canapé! It's like a little snack that you can eat in just one or two bites.

The bread part is usually really thin and crispy, like a cracker. Sometimes it's even shaped like a little cup that you can put the toppings in. The toppings can be all sorts of things, like cheese or tiny pieces of meat or vegetables. Sometimes they even have fancy sauces on them.

Canapés are usually served at parties or special events because they look really pretty and taste really good. They're also very easy to eat because they're so small, and you can try lots of different kinds without getting too full!
