Cannulated bar

A cannulated bar is like a long straw that is used to help put things inside bones. Doctors and other medical professionals will use this kind of bar when they need to do something like fix a broken bone or take some fluid out of inside the bone.

The bar is called "cannulated" because it has a hole that goes all the way through it, like a tunnel. This hole is what makes it easy to put things through the bar and into the bone. Once the bar is inserted into the bone, doctors can use it to insert other instruments or tools to help fix or treat the bone.

Even though it might sound scary, using a cannulated bar can actually make the process of fixing a bone or treating some conditions a lot easier and less painful. It is an important tool that doctors and other medical professionals can use to take good care of their patients.
