Canyon

A canyon is like a really big crack or hole in the ground, kind of like a long ditch. Canyons are usually made by a river or a stream that flows through the land over a really long time. The water moves and carries away small rocks and dirt, digging deeper and deeper into the ground. Over time, the hole or crack becomes so deep that it becomes a canyon which can be really wide or really narrow, and can also have really steep sides that go up really high. Canyons are amazing to explore and can be found all around the world!
