Cape Corps

Okay kiddo, so Cape Corps was a group of people who lived in South Africa a long time ago. They wanted to stand up for their rights and fight against unfair laws that were made by the government. They wore special uniforms or capes that helped them stand out as a group.

The Cape Corps fought against something called apartheid, which was a system that separated people based on their skin color. This means that some people were treated worse than others just because of the way they looked. The Cape Corps didn’t like this and thought it was unfair.

They went on protests and rallies to voice their opinions and make their voices heard. They also worked to help build schools and promote education.

It was a tough fight, but eventually apartheid ended and everyone in South Africa was treated equally. The Cape Corps played a big role in making this happen, and they will always be remembered for their bravery and perseverance.
