Car surfing

Car surfing is an extremely dangerous activity. It's when someone, usually a teenager or young adult, rides or stands on the roof or hood of a moving car while holding on.

Imagine if you were playing pretend and you were pretending to be a surfer, but instead of surfing in the ocean like normal, you pretend to surf on top of a car. Sounds fun, right?

But in real life, this is NOT fun, and it’s definitely NOT safe. The person who is car surfing can easily fall off the car and get hurt or even killed. They might get hit by another car or fall off onto the road and hit their head or break a bone.

It doesn’t matter how good you think you are at balancing or how slow your friend is driving. Car surfing is never safe and can lead to serious injury or death. It’s important never to try it or participate in encouragement or to watch others participate.
