Carbon capture and storage

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is a technique that is being used to help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide (a type of pollution) that is being released into the atmosphere. It works by capturing the carbon dioxide from power plants and other industrial processes, and then storing it safely underneath the ground in rocks or the ocean. This means that the carbon dioxide will not be released into the atmosphere where it can cause harm to the environment. CCS can help us protect the environment by reducing the amount of pollution that is created.
