Carboxypeptidase

Carboxypeptidase is like a helper that helps break down food in your belly. It's really good at breaking down protein, which is like the building blocks that make our bodies healthy and strong.

The food we eat has big pieces of protein in it, like a puzzle with big pieces. But our body needs smaller pieces so it can use them better. So, carboxypeptidase helps break apart the big puzzle pieces of protein into smaller puzzle pieces.

It does this by cutting off the end of the protein puzzle, like when you cut off a crust from your sandwich. This makes the protein puzzle smaller and easier to break apart into even smaller pieces.

Overall, carboxypeptidase is like a puzzle helper that breaks down big pieces of protein into smaller, more usable pieces.
