ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Card stock

Card stock is a special type of paper that is thicker and stronger than regular paper. Imagine if you had a bunch of paper plates and you stacked them on top of each other. That's kind of how card stock is made. It's like taking a bunch of paper and sticking them together to make them super thick and sturdy.

Card stock comes in all different colors and sizes, so you can use it for all sorts of things. You might use it to make a greeting card for your friend's birthday, or to create a cute little booklet.

Because card stock is so strong, it can hold up better than regular paper. That makes it great for things like invitations and announcements that you want to last a bit longer. It's also good for things like crafting and scrapbooking where you might want to glue on some extra decorations.

So when you want to make something that's a little bit more special than just regular paper, card stock is the way to go. It might sound like a fancy word, but all it really means is that you have some super strong paper to work with!
