Cariboo camels

Cariboo Camels are big animals that lived a long time ago in North America. They had a funny shape and were very useful to people who lived there.

Long ago, some people in North America needed to get around and do things but it was very hard to do without some kind of animal to help them. So some people got the idea to bring camels over from far away places like Africa and Asia.

These camels were called Cariboo Camels and they were very interesting because they had a big bump on their back that could store water. This made them very helpful in places where there wasn't much water.

The Cariboo Camels helped people do all kinds of things like carrying heavy things and traveling long distances. They were also used to explore new places because they could go for a long time without needing water.

But eventually, people didn't really need the Cariboo Camels anymore. They were too expensive to keep and there were other animals that were easier to take care of. So the Cariboo Camels slowly disappeared from North America.

Today, we can learn about Cariboo Camels in museums and books. Even though they aren't around anymore, they are still an interesting part of history.
