So Caroline Pratt was a lady who really liked kids and wanted them to have a better time at school. She thought that the way school was being taught was not very fun and kids were not learning a lot.
So she came up with a new way of teaching called the "Unit Blocks" or the "Pratt Method". She made these really cool blocks that were different shapes and sizes, and kids could use them to learn and play at the same time.
With these blocks, kids could build things like houses, bridges, and towers. By doing that, they learned a lot about math, science, and spatial reasoning, which is understanding how things fit together in space.
Caroline believed that kids could learn better by doing and playing, and her idea became really popular all over the world!
