Carroll diagram

Okay kiddo, so a Carroll Diagram is a way of organizing things into groups based on certain characteristics they share.

Imagine you have a bunch of different toys, like blocks, cars, dolls, and stuffed animals. You can make a Carroll Diagram to sort them out by different features, like their color, size, or whether they are hard or soft.

So for example, you could make four sections in the Carroll Diagram for toys that are red, blue, green, and yellow. Then you would put all the toys that are each color in the matching section.

Or you could make two sections for toys that are hard and toys that are soft. Then you would put all the toys that are hard in one section and all the toys that are soft in the other.

The Carroll Diagram helps you see how things are similar and different and it makes it easier to organize and compare them. Pretty cool, huh?
