Cartwheel Galaxy

So, a cartwheel galaxy is like a big spinning saucer in space. It's made up of lots of stars and gas and dust, all swirling around in a circle.

This particular galaxy got its name because it looks like a cartwheel! It has a bright center and then lots of arms that stick out like spokes on a wheel.

Scientists think that this galaxy was formed when another galaxy crashed into it a really long time ago. The crash caused a big explosion that sent lots of material flying out in all directions. As that material spun around, it eventually settled into the shape of a cartwheel.

Now, the cartwheel galaxy is just hanging out in space, spinning around and exploring the universe like all the other galaxies out there!
