Case Study Houses

Case study houses were a special kind of houses that were built mainly in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s. These houses were special because they were designed by very smart architects and builders who wanted to figure out how to make houses that were really good for people to live in.

Now imagine you want to build a really cool house but you want to make sure it has everything you could possibly need. Maybe you would want a big backyard to play in, or maybe you would want a room where you could do your homework or a place where you could play video games with your friends. The people who built case study houses asked lots of questions like these to lots of different people to figure out how to build the best possible house.

Then they used lots of new and interesting materials to make the houses. They used glass walls to let in lots of sunlight and make the rooms look big and bright. They used strong metal frames to make the houses sturdy and safe. They even used really cool furniture and decorations so the houses would look really modern and stylish.

These houses were so cool that lots of people wanted to live in them, and they became very famous all over the world. So that's what case study houses are - they're really special houses that were built by really smart people who wanted to make sure that everyone could have a really great place to live.
