ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Case government

Okay, so imagine you and your friends want to build a sandcastle on the beach. You need to come up with a plan for building it, right? That's what the government does too, but on a much bigger scale.

Case government means that the government has to make a plan and decision about something that's happening in the country. For example, let's say there's a problem with pollution in the air. The government has to come up with a plan to fix it.

The government talks to a lot of people who know about pollution and how to fix it. They might talk to scientists, business owners, and regular people who are affected by the pollution. Then they make a plan for how to fix the pollution, and they put it into action.

But making a plan and putting it into action can be really hard! Things might not go perfectly, or people might not agree with the plan. So the government has to keep talking to people and adjusting the plan until it works the way they want it to.

So when you build a sandcastle with your friends, you have to make a plan, work together, and sometimes change your plan along the way. The government is kind of like your group of friends, but they are building and fixing things for the whole country.
